SKCRF takes extreme pleasure and pride in announcing the launch of Internship

Programss in association with Educational Institutions and Universities.

The Internship can be offered in the domains of:

1. Role of Gender in Livestock Rearing (Targeting Women Livestock rearers).
2. The inter connection of Native Cattle of the region (Kangayam Cattle ) with the Unique Silvi Pasture System popularly known as Korangadu in the Western Districts/ Kongu Region
   of Tamil Nadu.
3. Study of flora and fauna in Korangadu in the Western Districts / Kongu Region of Tamil Nadu.
4. Rearing of Native Cattle – In the era of Jallikattu Ban its aftermath in post – Jallikattu Uprising Period. (Economical Benefits, Recognition of their Pedigree Bulls, etc).
5. Economics of Livestock Rearing and Livestock Trade.

These Internship Programs have been formulated after researching upon the field study criteria and the criteria of the internship mentioned in the curriculum of the course of the students who wish to take up the internship. It is flexible in such a way that it can be changed based on the duration of the intended period and willingness of the candidate in the level of field study and exploration. The Internship duration can vary from a short duration of 15 days to 3 or 4 months.

SKCRF shall issue certificates of merit on the successful completion the internship period. The study report / thesis published through this Internship will be published by SKCRF in it’s website.

SKCRF is also proud to mention that it has previously collaborated with students of reputed institutes and universities across the country such as masters Level graduate students of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad, Engineering Graduates of IIT Mumbai, and doctoral research students from IIM – Kozhikode to mention a few..
